The Music Therapist/Community Programs Coordinator position consists of 60% music therapy caseload-related duties (direct service, documentation, session planning, education, staff meetings, etc.) and 40% Community Programs Coordinator-related duties. As Music Therapist, caseload includes and requires experience working with DD population, addiction and recovery or behavioral/mental health, private autism/behavioral health schools, and other populations and settings as needed. As Community Programs Coordinator, responsibilities include coordinating with community partners and agency staff in regard to scheduling, staffing needs, and client/group needs, maintaining close contact with community partners and provide exceptional customer service to anticipate needs and resolve issues as they arise, developing community music therapy programs and contracts/negotiation. This position reports to the Operations Manager. Work will take place in both clinic and community-based settings.​

Position: Music Therapist/Community Programs Coordinator Full Time, Salaried, non-exempt
-Provide quality music therapy services for assigned caseload and maintain accurate, timely, and organized documentation for all sessions
-Maintain close contact with community partners at least once per quarter to ensure beneficial services are provided and client needs met
-Collaborate with team members to develop new music therapy programs
-Identify and resolve potential conflicts with community partners
-Provide informational in-service presentations to community partners
-Meet with potential community partners to discuss their client needs and provide information about music therapy to meet these needs
-Develop and negotiate service contracts with community partnersContact and meet with new potential community partners​
